Scripture Reading

2 Corinthians 12:9–10
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Psalm 77:11–12
I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
    yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
12 I will consider all your works
    and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”

Reflection

Throughout Scripture, God's people built altars and monuments to remember what He had done. John reminds us to remember the evidence of God's work in our own lives. Your story is filled with "pillars"—moments where God was faithful, where He carried you, healed you, forgave you, or met you in your weakness.

The enemy wants you to forget those moments. God invites you to remember them.

Spend time today writing down three moments where you clearly experienced God's love or faithfulness. Let those memories strengthen your faith for whatever lies ahead.

Reflection Questions

  • What are the defining moments where I experienced God's presence?

  • How has God carried me through difficult seasons?

  • What "pillar" do I need to remember today?

  • Who needs to hear the story of God's faithfulness in my life?

Prayer

Father, thank You for every way You have been faithful to me. Help me remember Your goodness, especially when life feels uncertain. Let my story become a testimony that points others to Your love. Give me the courage to share what You have done and to trust that You are still at work today. Amen.
