We believe God is inviting Rise Community into a season of spiritual renewal, and we believe that renewal begins with people who are willing to lead, serve, and help disciple others.

That is why we are excited to invite our church community to the Rise Leaders Retreat on October 2–3, 2026.

This retreat is open to anyone currently serving in leadership at Rise, as well as anyone who feels God may be calling them to take a greater step into leadership, ministry, or service. You do not need to have a title or formal role to attend. If you have a heart to grow, serve others, and help strengthen our church community, we would love for you to join us.

Why a Leaders Retreat?

At Rise, our mission is to build a community of discipled believers who become the hands and feet of Jesus.

We believe discipleship happens through relationships. It requires time together, honest conversations, prayer, encouragement, and a willingness to walk alongside one another as we follow Jesus.

Leadership at Rise is not simply about filling a position or completing a task. It is about becoming the kind of people who can faithfully serve others, care for our community, and help others grow in their relationship with Jesus.

The Leaders Retreat gives us an opportunity to step away from the normal pace of life and ministry and intentionally spend time together. We will worship, pray, share meals, deepen relationships, and seek God for wisdom and direction for the future of our church.

Retreat Schedule

Our retreat will take place locally this year so that as many people as possible can participate.

Friday, October 2
We will begin the weekend with dinner and fellowship. This will be a relaxed evening to connect with one another, share a meal, and enjoy time together.

Saturday, October 3
On Saturday, we will spend the day at Green Glades Ranch. Our time together will include morning worship and prayer, lunch, meaningful conversation, and fellowship.

Our hope is that Saturday will give us space to slow down, listen to God, encourage one another, and strengthen the relationships that help make our church community healthy.

Who Should Attend?

If you are already serving as a leader at Rise, we hope you will make this weekend a priority.

But this retreat is also for anyone who is interested in becoming more involved at Rise or feels God may be calling them toward leadership.

Maybe you have been attending for a while and are wondering what your next step could be. Maybe you want to serve but are not sure where you fit. Or perhaps God has been stirring something in you and you are ready to explore what leadership could look like.

This weekend is a great place to begin.

Seeking God Together

Our community has walked through a lot over the past few years, and through every season God has remained faithful.

We believe He has placed Rise in this community for a reason, and we want to continue faithfully walking the path He has placed before us. That means continuing to invest in people, deepen relationships, make disciples, serve our neighbors, and become the hands and feet of Jesus wherever God sends us.

We are looking forward to this weekend and expectant for what God will do as we gather together.
