We are partnering with Refugee Assistance Alliance (RAA) with the long welcome through my Community Sponsorship Team and you can too! Community Sponsorship Teams (or CSTs) work with an RAA family for 6-12 months. CSTs provide the “long welcome” and help the family navigate their new life in the U.S. CSTs become a support system for families as they build community in South Florida fostering a sense of belonging.
We are excited to share that our church now has unlimited access to RightNow Media—the world’s largest streaming library of video Bible study resources (it’s been called the “Netflix of video Bible studies”). This extensive library has more than 20,000 videos from leaders like Francis Chan, Jennie Allen, Matt Chandler, Dr. Tony Evans, and many more. These Bible study videos can be used as part of a group study or for personal devotions, and many series include free discussion guides and handouts.
This year we’re getting a head start on our Christmas Love and Serve project in Haiti! Due to the unrest in Haiti we want to be sure we have plenty of time to get the gifts to the children. This year we are once again joining with Haiti's Hope to serve the needs of the children in Haiti!
