A Safe Home for Girls Fleeing Myanmar
A Place of Safety. A Path to a Future.
Along the border of Thailand and Myanmar, young girls are fleeing violence, instability, and persecution in search of safety. Tragically, many never find it. Instead, they become vulnerable to human trafficking, exploitation, and forced labor.
Our project exists to offer a different outcome.
We are building a safe home for young refugee girls—a place of protection, healing, education, and opportunity. This home will serve as a refuge for girls escaping danger and as a foundation for a self-sufficient future.
We are raising $30,000 for this project.
Why This Home Is Needed
The Ongoing Crisis in Myanmar
Since the military coup in Myanmar, the country has endured ongoing conflict, economic collapse, and widespread human rights abuses. Entire communities have been displaced, forcing families and children to flee across borders just to survive.
Young girls face the greatest risks.
Without safe housing, legal protection, or access to education, refugee girls are especially vulnerable to:
Human trafficking
Sexual exploitation
Forced labor
Early and forced marriage
For many, the lack of opportunity leaves them trapped in cycles of dependency and danger.
The Vision
Protection Today. Independence Tomorrow.
This home is designed to be more than a shelter—it is a launch point for long-term stability and independence.
In addition to providing a safe and secure place to live, the home will offer:
Access to education
Life skills development
Vocational and trade training
Girls living in the home will have opportunities to learn practical skills that can help them earn a living and support themselves with dignity. By combining safety with education and training, we are addressing both immediate protection and long-term empowerment.
Our goal is not only to rescue girls from danger—but to equip them to build their own futures.
The Property & Home Design
The home will be built on a dedicated piece of land near the Thailand–Myanmar border, strategically located to serve girls as they cross into Thailand seeking refuge.
The design includes:
Secure sleeping areas
Shared living and learning spaces
Bathrooms and washing facilities
Covered outdoor areas for daily activities and training
Every element of the design prioritizes safety, dignity, and sustainability.
